Chapter 14 – Blessed New Developments

Chapter 14         Blessed New Developments

Anna opened the letter from Esther with anticipation.  The New York street traffic from below reminded her of the contrast between city life and the sound of birds in open spaces.  It had been several weeks since her visit and she missed them.

“To my dearest Aunt Anna,

Just thinking of you warms my heart every day. We have felt a great change since your visit. You opened gates of understanding for Mike and me and our lives are blessed.  For the first time in many years Mike and I and Jesse are truly enjoying each other’s company, reading and learning and sharing together by the fireside, from the wonderful books you left for us.  Mike is fascinated by some of the inspiring material you gave him.

Now he actually appreciates the value of what Jesse had been trying to tell us.  He realizes that it’s quite possible my dearest grandmother Rachel is watching over us and sending us healing light.  Our days are joyous and the tension that clouded our family is gone.

I have begun to pray with Jesse, not only for us but for the whole world to be aware of the loving Presence of the Almighty One. Being with Jesse and listening to him has brought me an invaluable gift: the gift of trust and faith in the Love from on High. This brings me inner joy and energy every day.

There is a certain peace about Jesse that seems to instantly calm anyone that spends time with him.  Children are now flocking around him, seeking his attention.  He enjoys them but he doesn’t tell them his secrets.

The mothers of the children taking the creative art class at our home have convinced me that they also deserve to express their talents. While we paint and paste our weekly theme, we share our dreams, hopes, blessings and wishes for each other.  You’d be surprised how much we laugh.  Problems that seemed so aggravating and obstacles that you would think would never change, are resolved in the company of good friends. Our house is getting crowded but it’s well worth it.

Please come back soon.

We love you dearly,

Esther

It was closer to fall one early morning when Jesse ran to his Mother who was just climbing out of her down comforter.  He was bouncing for joy.

“Mommy.  I found out a new secret last night!”

“Another one?”

“A wonderful secret.  The best secret for all of us.”

“Tell me!”

“In my dream last night I saw a beautiful garden and above it there was a big ball of light floating down toward me.  I was curious and looked inside.  And there inside, was this very sweet baby smiling at me! And I knew this baby is on its way to come and join our family. Mommy, we have a new baby coming to us!”

Mother let out a happy laughter: “Yes? Jesse, we have been waiting for this for years.  And now we have signs that I am expecting a child. Your dream brings me even greater anticipation. I can now trust all will be well. Thank you, Jesse.”      “He is going to be my little brother.  I am going to take such good care of him, I will take him everywhere.  I love him already.”

Jesse entered the second grade carrying pencils and notebooks, merging into lines of freshly dressed children and sitting with an eager face at his desk to meet the teacher and listen to long lessons.

But he also carries the visions from the Worlds of Light with him and they dance in his heart every time he thinks about them.  He is feeling strong and confident – Joy is shining on his face and twinkling in his eyes. Many good friends are now seeking his company and competing for his attention.

Here he is with his best friend Miri. They are admiring the special sparkles glittering over some of the pebbles they have found in his favorite brook of clear waters cascading down the mountain slopes.

Sometimes Jesse feels the Presence of the Lady of Light very close to him, enveloping him with Love from Above like sunshine, warm and comforting.

He knows this great love from the Almighty One is always here for all people.  He knows the mighty angels and compassionate souls from the Worlds of Light are here to guard and guide us.  Great plans are in the making for each one.

The Author of Life smiles upon us, and is eagerly waiting to lift us to ever higher levels of blissful awareness and a Love that heals.

Daily Torah Quote

Joke of the day

Little Josh was brought to Dr. Gill cause he hadn’t eaten anything for days. Dr. Gill offered him all the goodies he could think of. No luck. He tried a little scolding. It didn’t work. A little pleading, to no avail. Finally he sat down, faced the boy, looked him in the eye. He said, “Look young man, if you can be stubborn, so can I. You’re not going anywhere till you eat something. You can have whatever you want, but only after you have eaten will you leave.” Josh just sat and glared for some time, then said “OK. I’ll eat but I have some conditions. First, I’ll have exactly what I want and exactly how I want it and second you’ll share with me.” Dr. Gill was OK with this. He asked the child what he’d like. “Worms!” said Josh. Dr. Gill was horrified but didn’t want to back out and seem like a loser. So, he ordered a plate of worms to be brought in. “Not that many, just one,” yelled Josh as he saw the plate. So, everything other than one worm was removed. Josh then demanded that the single worm be cut into two pieces and then Dr. Gill eat half. Dr. Gill went through the worst ordeal of his life, and after finishing, barely managing to keep his cool, said, “OK, now eat!” Josh refused as he sobbed, “No way! You ate my half!”
